Specially created to celebrate the ongoing story of the Ptown Heart. Seen all over town in shop and home windows or gardens, the Provincetown Heart began during the early days of the pandemic to thank essential workers and spread love in town. Since that time, over 4,000 hearts on paint stirrers have been made and sold at Womencrafts.
Each mug is wheel thrown using a warm speckled brown stoneware clay in Barbarah Robertson’s Strasburg Virginia pottery studio.
Each piece is glazed in a 100% food safe glaze, and fired to over 2200°F! Glaze choices are white or blue and the etched writing is in black.
